Once you submit your details, we’ll forward your information to one of our local, accredited VEVA installers. They have been vetted by us and are fully qualified electricians, experienced in installing our chargers.   

The installer will contact you directly to discuss your requirements and confirm whether your installation meets the standard installation criteria. They will then provide a full quotation. If any work falls outside the standard installation, this will be clearly explained along with a breakdown of any additional costs, ensuring you have all the information needed before making your decision. 

Once you’re happy to proceed the VEVA-approved installer agree installation dates and time, issue you and invoice as appropriate. All payment should to be made directly to the installer. 

VEVA will continue to oversee the service provided by our nominated installer throughout the process. We’re here to support both you and the installer during installation and beyond so if you have any questions just give us a call. 

An approved VEVA installer will be in touch within 2–3 working days of your details being submitted. 

They will discuss your installation requirements, whether it meets standard installation criteria or not, provide your quotation and then arrange convenient installation dates and times with you to get your charger set up and working. 

A standard installation typically includes: 

• Labour and travel within agreed postcodes 

• Up to 10 metres of above-ground cabling 

• One wall penetration 

• RCD (residual current device) and surge protection devices to protect your charger and your home as required 

• DNO (Distribution Network Operator) notification 

If anything outside this scope is required, your installer will explain why and confirm any additional costs before work begins. 

Your VEVA EV Charger comes with a three (3) year warranty. 

This warranty covers the charger for three years from the date of installation or, where agreed in writing, three years from VEVA account activation. During this period, the charger is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service.

Once installed, your VEVA charger will be fully tested and commissioned by your approved installer. You charger will automatically appear as active on our back-office system and your nearly good to go! 

You will need to download the VEVA app for Apple App Store or Google Play Store, set up an account then add the charger to your account when it has been commissioned. Full explanations of how to do this are in the user manual that will be left with you but are also available on the website.  

The user manual also explains how to personalise your charger settings to allow you to get the most from your new VEVA charger. This includes the setting of off-peak, additional and solar charging schedules (if you have solar) plus many other settings to make this truly personal for you.
